About
Kerem Levitas is an associate at Terrell Marshall Law Group where he focuses his practice on individual employment matters as well as wage and hour and consumer class actions. Prior to joining the firm, Kerem spent nearly four years serving as in-house counsel at a publicly-traded Washington corporation with a nationwide and international presence. While there, he advised on all manner of employment risk as well as wage and hour class action risk. He has experience managing employment matters, risk mitigation strategy, and compliance issues throughout the country, as well as Canada, Puerto Rico, and China. He has handled employment disputes from factual investigation to mediation and settlement. Prior to his in-house position, he clerked at the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division One for the Honorable Linda Lau. Kerem is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Law, where he served as an Editor on the Washington Law Review, vice-president of the Middle East Law Students Association of Washington, and a member of the Tribal Criminal Defense Clinic. Kerem is an active member of the Seattle and Washington legal communities. He is a former President and Board Member of the Middle Eastern Legal Association of Washington as well as a former board member of the Institute for Diversity Governing Council. Kerem is Turkish-American and lives in Beacon Hill with his wife and daughter. He travels frequently to Turkey where he enjoys visiting family and friends, eating kumru, and attending Beşiktaş games. Kerem is admitted to practice in Washington and Oregon.
