About

Mr. Gumersell has successfully closed merger and acquisition transactions, private financing transactions, commercial loan transactions and work out transactions for businesses of all sizes in various industries, including the software, banking, insurance, engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. Some of the transactions have been in excess of $100,000,000. Mr. Gumersell also counsels large and small businesses on issues that arise in the ordinary operations of their businesses, including shareholder rights and disputes, shareholders agreements, the authority and duties of management, voluntary and contested dissolutions, organizational and operational agreements, financing issues and contractual relationships with customers and vendors. Mr. Gumersell lectures on various business and tax issues to businesses, community groups, attorneys and accountants. Mr. Gumersell is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association. He is a member of the business and tax committees of these bar associations. Mr. Gumersell is a member of the Catholic Charities Volunteer Lawyers Project, a member of the Board of Directors of the Fiddlers Green Association, Inc., and the President of the Lloyd Harbor Historical Society. He serves on the Firm's New Business Committee.
