About
Dan Bause has been associate at O’Connor, Parsons, Lane & Noble LLC since 2012 and has amassed extensive litigation and trial experience in that time. Dan specializes in employment law, with a significant emphasis in wrongful termination and workplace harassment matters. Particularly, Dan has represented numerous employees in cases against their current and former employers in a variety of different claims, including sexual and racial harassment, hostile work environment, race discrimination, disability discrimination, age discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, unlawful retaliation and violations of the FMLA and NJFLA. Many of these cases have resulted in substantial recoveries and settlements for the firm’s clients and Dan continues to fight for employees’ rights within the workplace in a number of different capacities. Dan also handles personal injury matters for the firm, including slip and falls, car accidents and other similar matters and also has trial experience relating to such claims. Dan received his B.S. magna cum laude from Seton Hall University in 2008 and his J.D. magna cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2011. He is a member of Seton Hall Law’s chapter of the Order of the Coif and received the Chicago Title Insurance Company Award upon graduation. While at Seton Hall Law, Dan served as an Associate Editor for the SHU Law Sports and Entertainment Law Journal and as a clinical student in the SHU Law’s Civil Rights and Constitutional Litigation Clinic. It was during his time as a clinical student fighting for the civil rights of various clients where Dan developed a passion for civil rights and ultimately led him to the litigation of such claims within the workplace. Prior to joining the firm, Dan served as the law clerk for the Honorable Martin Cronin, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey – Essex County. Dan is admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and New York and is a member of such organizations as the New Jersey Bar Association and the National Employment Lawyers Association.
