Mr. Majkowski is a Co-Chair of the Toxic Tort Subcommittee of the American Bar Association's Litigation Section's Mass Tort Committee. Mr. Majkowski has published several articles on mass tort and toxic tort issues, has presented at an ABA chemical products seminar and has served as a co-chair of the 2011 and 2012 Chemical and Industrial Products Regional CLE Workshops. He is also active with the ABA Litigation Section's Products Liability Committee and Chemical Products Subcommittee, the Toxic Tort and Environmental Law Committee of the Defense Research Institute, and the Product Liability Committee of the New York City Bar Association. Mr. Majkowski is a member of the Adjunct Board of Instructors of the US-Korea Law Foundation, and most recently presented "Foreign Parallel Proceedings from the United States Perspective: Do the Court Need a Crystal Ball?" at the 2012 U.S.-Korea Law Day Conference. Mr. Majkowski has a varied litigation background encompassing lawsuits in state and federal court, as well as arbitrations and mediations, and substantial appellate practice experience. In addition to his current work in the toxic tort and product liability areas, Mr. Majkowski's experience includes comprehensive insurance coverage actions concerning environmental and mass tort liabilities, the defense of employment discrimination and high-exposure personal injury matters, and responsibility for the motions and appeals practice at a prominent plaintiff's medical malpractice firm. Mr. Majkowski is a former Editor in Chief of the St. John's Law Review, and has served as an officer and director in the Nassau and Manhattan chapters of the Law School's Alumni Association. He assists current law students via the St. John's Law Review Alumni Mentoring Program, as well as volunteering as a mentor to undergraduate students at New York University. Mr. Majkowski has also participated in the ABA's National Appellate Advocacy Competition as a moot court judge and brief grader. Mr. Majkowski devotes significant time to the Lymphoma Research Foundation. He is a Past President of LRF's New York City Chapter and a co-founder of the Long Island Chapter, and currently serves as Advocacy Chair of both Chapters. Mr. Majkowski currently serves an appointment as an FDA Patient Representative through the Office of Special Health Issues and has sat on the FDA Oncologic Drug Advisory Committee.
