Michael J. Jones is a Partner in the firm's Insurance Coverage & Litigation and Litigation & Appeals Practice Groups, resident in the New Jersey office. He is an experienced litigator having represented clients in a variety of complex civil and commercial litigations. Mr. Jones has expertise in contract disputes, toxic tort, environmental, professional liability, insurance coverage and ERISA matters. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Jones has represented many of world's largest insurance companies in numerous coverage and extra-contractual disputes throughout the country. Mr. Jones recently represented one of the nation's largest REIT's in a high exposure premises liability wrongful death case. Despite the presence of legionella in the building, Mr. Jones successfully convinced the court that the building's owner/operator should not be held responsible for the occupant's Legionnaires' disease. Mr. Jones has been admitted to practice pro hac vice in numerous state and federal courts across the country.
