About
Dan is an associate in Saxton & Stump’s Construction, Construction Litigation, and Commercial Litigation groups. In his practice out of the firm’s Pittsburgh office Dan represents owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, construction managers, and other industry professionals in all aspects of construction law, including the review and negotiations of contracts and the prosecution and defense of mechanics’ lien claims, delay, acceleration, and inefficiency claims, and all manner of payment disputes. As a part of his practice, Dan assists clients at every stage of the construction process, from bid to final payment. Dan regularly facilitates the assistance of other Saxton & Stump attorneys to counsel clients in a variety if business matters, including labor and employment, environmental, creditors’ rights, intellectual property, real estate, and corporate. Dan earned his law degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and received a double undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Anthropology and History. While in Law School, Dan served on the Executive Board of the Pittsburgh Tax Review Journal as a Bluebook Editor and worked as a certified legal intern representing clients through Pitt Law’s clinic program. In addition to his practice, Dan is also active in a number of construction industry trade groups.
