Mr. Malerba also frequently lectures on various healthcare issues before hospitals, medical groups, and state professional associations. Mr. Malerba has experience in numerous other areas including: insurance coverage matters, age and gender discrimination, employment law, municipal liability, civil rights matters, and general liability. Mr. Malerba is a participant in the Volunteer Lawyers' Project, where he represents tenants in landlord/tenant proceedings. Mr. Malerba mentors children in a program co-sponsored by Rivkin Radler LLP, the Mentoring Partnership of Long Island, and Summit Lane Elementary School in Levittown, New York. He also serves as a board of director of The Early Years Institute, a not-for-profit organization that promotes the importance of the early years of life for later success. In 2011, he was inducted into Long Island Business News' 40 Rising Stars Under 40.
