An engaged leader, Mr. Lochner has held significant roles within various organizations, including the Recreational Boating Committee of the Maritime Law Association and the Legal Committee for the United States Sailing Association. He is a Past President of both the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Racing Association and the Paca-Brent American Inns of Court, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Annapolis Community Boating, Inc.
