As Founder of Madison Lawyers Group, P.C., Shereen Ahmed specializes in family and employment based immigrationmatters and residential and commercial real estate law. She also handles various corporate transactions as well as estate planning matters. Prior to establishing Madison Lawyers Group, P.C, she co-founded Madison Group, LLP, a general law firm based in Chicago Illinois, where she handled immigration law, real estate law, corporate transactions, civil litigation and estate planning matters. During her last two years with her previous firm, before deciding to go solo, Shereen expanded the practice to the Washington, DC metro area, where she handled nationwide immigration cases. She has now further expanded her practice to Latin America, with offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she provides US immigration and consulting services. Prior to beginning her legal career, she gained valuable experience at DePaul University's International Human Rights Law Institute and spent two years as a legal assistant at a civil litigation firm that specialized in personal injury. Shereen was also a Victim-Witness Coordinator in the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Divisions at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. She completed her J.D. Degree at The John Marshall Law School and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2005. Shereen graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Illinois. She speaks Arabic fluently and is proficient in Spanish.
