Shelby Miner graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2014 with degrees in Anthropology, Communications, and Leadership. Shelby earned her law degree from UCLA in 2017, and was admitted to the CA Bar that year. In 2020, Shelby was admitted to the MN Bar. At UCLA, Shelby received a specialization in Tax Law and published an article regarding the future of Use Tax. While studying at UCLA, Shelby worked for the LA District Attorney’s Office - Hard Core Gangs Unit, the CA Court of Appeals, a private firm, and a production studio. She was also the President of the UCLA Moot Court Team, held a variety of editorial positions on various legal journals, and participated in a number of additional extra-curricular activities. After graduating, Shelby worked for two small private firms before starting Miner Legal, PC. Primary Areas of Practice: Employment Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Whistleblowing/Retaliation, Wage and Hour, Employee Misclassifications, Public Employees, Civil Rights, Police Misconduct, and Offer/Severance Negotiation.
