Sean Mahaffey joined Robbins, Kelly, Patterson & Tucker as an associate in 2016 and became a partner in 2022. Sean focuses his practice in the areas of real estate, commercial transactions, business, and civil litigation. He represents local and regional financial institutions, ensuring that each transaction is carefully structured and carried out in a thoughtful manner that best protects his client’s interests. Throughout his career, Sean has skillfully represented numerous lenders in real estate sales and complex commercial construction. Sean utilizes his real estate expertise to represent buyers, sellers, landlords and developers of real estate, by identifying and evaluating the risks and challenges specific to each deal. Sean works closely with the firm’s wholly owned title company, which allows him to guide his clients from the earliest stages of a transaction through closing. Sean also has a wide range of experience representing businesses in the early stages of formation and structuring sales of company assets and ownership interest. Sean and his wife, Amanda, have been proud Madisonville residents since 2018. Sean is board member of the Madisonville Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation (MCURC), a non-profit with the mission of enhancing the quality of life for everyone in Madisonville.
