Saori Ishida is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Ishida Immigration Law PLLC. She exclusively practices immigration and nationality law. Ms. Ishida has extensive experience managing various immigration cases affecting businesses, non-profits, entrepreneurs, individuals and families. She has successfully handled non-immigrant visa applications for professionals (H-1B, TN, E-3), inter-company transferees (L-1), treaty traders and investors (E-1, E-2), trainees (H-3, J-1), and persons with extraordinary abilities (O-1). Ms. Ishida has represented clients in PERM/Labor Certification process, immigrant visa petitions, and applications for legal permanent resident status ("green card"). She has also handled waivers of J-1 two-year home residence requirement, national interest waivers and removal defense. Ms. Ishida has a track record of taking on and delivering successful outcomes for matters that were previously denied or faced burdensome Request for Evidence (RFE) from the USCIS. Fluent in Japanese, she has helped Japanese clients navigate through the U.S. immigration system by advising on consular processing, regulatory compliance, as well as immigration consequences of corporate reorganization. Before establishing Ishida Immigration Law, she was an associate attorney at Barnes & Thornburg LLP in Chicago, where she provided strategic advice for corporate and individual clients in U.S. immigration matters. Prior to that, Ms. Ishida practiced immigration law at a boutique firm in Washington, D.C. Ms. Ishida is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
