Ms. Ali graduated from the David A. Clarke School of Law at the University of the District of Columbia. She has been awarded the Dr. Medger Evers Political Action Award by the NAACP presented to an individual who has exhibited outstanding commitment and leadership over the years. This award is named in memory of the late Medgar Evers who served tirelessly as the Mississippi Field Secretary. Ms. Ali is also an Equal Justice America Fellow, which is a fellowship awarded to those who have shown an outstanding commitment to promoting fair access to the court system for indigent clients as well as advocating on behalf of people who cannot afford representation. Ms. Ali has experience helping clients navigate difficult real estate cases as well as advising them on the tax implications of real property transactions. She combines her experiences as a litigator with her in depth knowledge of the tax code and real estate law to provide excellent results for her clients and her firm. Ms. Ali is barred in Virginia and the District Court of the District of Columbia
