About
Rima Kikani is an accomplished attorney at Rollins, Smalkin, Richards & Mackie, LLC, based in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2014 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, obtained in 2011. Before pursuing her legal career, Ms. Kikani served as an IRTA Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, where she conducted research on genetic pathways associated with retinal degeneration. During her time in law school, Ms. Kikani distinguished herself as a member of the William McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court Competition Team, achieving national recognition as the 2nd Runner Up for her written brief. She demonstrated her leadership skills as the President of the Moot Court Board and contributed as a teaching assistant for two trial advocacy courses. Her legal experience includes roles at the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, the Office of the Attorney General, and the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City. Following her graduation, Ms. Kikani completed a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Shannon E. Avery at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Prior to her tenure at RSRM, she practiced at a plaintiffs’ litigation firm, focusing on medical malpractice, wrongful death, premises liability, and civil rights cases. In addition to her practice, Ms. Kikani serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law.
