Michael Timothy Mihm is a distinguished attorney and co-founder of Ogborn Mihm LLP, a premier trial law firm based in Denver, Colorado. With over 40 years of experience, Michael has established a formidable reputation in the fields of business litigation, medical malpractice, personal injury, and real estate. His extensive courtroom expertise is underscored by a remarkable track record of handling high-stakes lawsuits, often leading to jury trials and arbitrations. Michael is particularly renowned for his proficiency in legal malpractice litigation, representing plaintiffs in complex cases that have resulted in some of the largest jury verdicts and settlements in the United States. As a certified specialist in legal malpractice law by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, he has successfully managed hundreds of legal malpractice cases throughout his career. His leadership extends to his role as Past President of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) and as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocacy (ABOTA). In addition to his legal malpractice focus, Michael maintains a robust practice in business litigation, addressing issues such as breach of contract, corporate governance, and intellectual property theft. He also selectively takes on medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury cases, including a landmark $100 million settlement in a products liability claim related to a helicopter crash.
