Mr. Hooks is a shareholder with Forsberg & Umlauf. After obtaining his law degree, Mike clerked with the Montana Supreme Court before practicing law in private practice in Washington, D.C. Mike has been at Forsberg & Umlauf since 1994. Mike has extensive experience representing insurers in insurance coverage claims and lawsuits, including advising clients on pre-suit claims handling and litigation in areas of environmental liability, first-party property losses and bad faith claims and litigation. He also represents defendants in civil litigation in the areas of commercial torts, product and premises liability and other personal injury claims. Mike is admitted to practice in Washington and Montana and is admitted to practice in various federal courts.
