Michael P. Aloi serves as the head of the Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability Department at Grungo Law, located in Cherry Hill, NJ. A Jersey City native, Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Peter’s University in 1981 before pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, which he obtained in 1984. With over 33 years of legal experience, Michael has built a formidable reputation in the field of workers’ compensation law, practicing extensively in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has successfully represented clients in numerous contested cases before the Division of Workers’ Compensation in New Jersey and the Workers’ Compensation Office of Adjudication in Pennsylvania, as well as the Social Security Office of Disability Adjudication and Review in both states. Prior to joining Grungo Law in 2017, Michael honed his skills at a prominent South Jersey law firm for 16 years, ultimately becoming a shareholder and leading the Workers’ Compensation Department. Beyond his professional endeavors, Michael is a dedicated family man, residing in Marlton with his wife, Rose. They have been married for 35 years and are proud parents to two daughters, one of whom is also an attorney in Philadelphia. Michael's commitment to helping others extends into his personal life, where he prioritizes the needs of his family and friends. An avid sports enthusiast, Michael was an All-State ice hockey player during his high school years and continues to enjoy sports, both as a participant in informal games and as an engaged spectator. His approach to client service is rooted in respect, kindness, and compassion, ensuring that each individual receives the care and attention they deserve.
