Ms. Biscone is Acting Village Court Justice for the Incorporated Village of Garden City having been appointed to this position by the Mayor of the Village. Ms. Biscone is the first woman in the 131 year history of the Village to serve in this capacity. Her duties include presiding over disputes involving the interpretation of the Village Code, Vehicle and Traffic Law violations, and other significant issues affecting the lives of the Village residents and the business community. Prior to joining Rivkin Radler LLP, Ms. Biscone was a Senior Court Attorney for the New York State Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department, and has litigated real estate, zoning and municipal matters at other private law firms. Ms. Biscone has published a paper submitted to the First Annual Long Island Insurance Law Symposium discussing the preparation of a threshold injury defense.
