About
I finished my undergraduate degree in 1984 from University of Missouri, Columbia and then went on to complete my JD from Washington University, St. Louis in 1991. While in law school I was a member of the Washington University regional winning Mock Trial team. I am licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and over my career I have represented hundreds of individuals in the St. Louis City, St. Louis County and Franklin County areas. My first job out of law school was working for a plaintiff’s railroad litigation firm where I was able to obtain trial and hearing experience in nine different venues in the United States. In 1995 I left that practice to become a partner in my own firm with two other partners. Since the end of 2010 I have been a sole practitioner. Outside of my law practice, since 1991, I have been able to combine my undergraduate education experience with my trial knowledge as an adjunct professor with Washington University in St. Louis. I began as an adjunct professor with the undergraduate mock trial program. After a few years, I was then hired to be an adjunct professor with the Law School teaching a Pretrial class then later returned to teaching Mock Trial, but this time at the Law School. I am honored to coach the Washington University Law School mock trial team which has qualified for the National Competition more times than any other school in the entire country. I have been married to my lovely wife Mary for the past 28 years and we have three sons, Sam, 17, Will, 15 and Jack, 12.
