Graduating magna cum laude from Campbell University School of Law in 1985, Mark distinguished himself as the top student in his class, earning multiple American Jurisprudence Law Book Awards for his outstanding scholarship. His commitment to excellence was recognized with the prestigious West Hornbook Award, and he was honored as the "Law Student of the Year" by Omicron Delta Kappa. Mark was also a vital member of the Campbell Law Review and the moot court team, gaining practical experience that would shape his future practice. In 1987, armed with a small loan from his grandmother, Mark founded The Mason Law Firm in Mount Pleasant. Since then, he has represented numerous municipalities and individuals in a variety of legal matters, including high-stakes personal injury cases like the tragic United Airlines Flight 232 incident, which propelled him into the realm of serious personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Mark's commitment to his clients is further demonstrated by the establishment of a satellite office on Edisto Island and the construction of a state-of-the-art waterfront office on Shem Creek, designed to enhance client service and trial preparation.
