Originally hailing from Louisiana, Malcolm relocated to Oklahoma at the age of twelve, where he later graduated from Marion Military Institute in Alabama. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University before embarking on his legal journey at Oklahoma City University School of Law. Balancing work and study, he gained invaluable experience as a minute clerk for Oklahoma County District Court Judge Jack R. Parr and honed his skills as a legal intern in an insurance defense law firm. His dedication to his studies and peers was recognized when he was elected as a class representative for the Student Bar Association. After transferring to the University of Tulsa College of Law, Malcolm obtained his Juris Doctor in 1981. To deepen his understanding of medical issues related to workers’ compensation, he pursued courses in medical terminology and human anatomy at Tulsa Community College. With extensive experience in both non-jury and jury trials, Malcolm has successfully argued cases in all three of Oklahoma's appellate courts, earning published opinions that reflect his legal acumen. Beyond his legal practice, Malcolm is committed to community service, having held various leadership roles within his church and local organizations. He is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Tulsa and has volunteered as a local judge for the Miss Oklahoma Pageant.
