Katy Kurtz became a lawyer because she believed she could help people and that women have an important role to play in the legal profession. Those beliefs are as strong today as they were in 1979. Katy graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in 1978. She is admitted to practice in all state courts of Colorado and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Katy is a pioneer in Colorado Collaborative Law, and she is committed to exploring Alternative Dispute Resolution opportunities for her clients. In her free time Katy enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her family.
