Karen Couch was born and raised around Pasadena, California. A competitive golfer from the age of ten, Karen attended Kansas State University on an athletic scholarship. While at K-State, Karen earned her degree in Business Administration, graduating summa cum laude in 2004. Karen continued her education by earning her J.D. from Washburn University School of Law, graduating with honors. Named the Best Oralist at the J. Braxton Craven Jr. Memorial Competition, Karen served as Vice President of Washburn Moot Court and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. Karen’s practice emphasizes banking law, business and commercial transactions, creditor’s rights, estate planning, real estate and immigration law. Karen is a member of the Kansas Bar Association and the Saline-Ottawa County Bar Association. Karen supports the economic growth and development of her community through her involvement in the Chamber All American Team. She is also an active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Board President for The First Tee of Salina, and Planned Giving Chair for the Salina Area United Way.
