Joseph Edward MacGuire is a seasoned attorney and business broker based in Casper, Wyoming, with over thirty years of diverse business experience. He embarked on his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 18 by founding a flight school, subsequently engaging in the buying and selling of several businesses, including a high-end motorcycle dealership that he built from the ground up. Under his leadership, the dealership achieved annual gross sales exceeding seven million dollars and successfully acquired a competing business. Joe served as the president of the Motorcycle Dealers Association for six years, participating in two “20 Groups” that refined his business acumen. His success led him to sell his dealership through Murphy Business, after which he acquired the Murphy Franchise for Wyoming. Joe has practiced law in Wyoming for five years, drawing on his extensive background in business and sales. His previous role as a top ten traveling salesman for West Publishing, the world’s largest private publishing corporation at the time, further honed his skills. He also has experience in selling business aircraft, including turboprops and small jets. In addition to his legal practice in personal injury and real estate, Joe specializes in machinery and equipment appraisals, business valuations, and commercial real estate. A graduate of Casper College and the University of Wyoming, Joe holds a Juris Doctor degree and various professional certifications, including as a Business Transfer Specialist, certified machinery and equipment appraiser, and a licensed real estate agent. His passion for Wyoming, cultivated through his family's land surveying business, drives his commitment to sharing the state's treasures with future generations.
