About
John R. Monnich Sr. was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1974 and successfully litigated jury matters his entire 40 year career. He has tried well over 100 jury trials for both plaintiffs and defendants. In addition to negligence cases and medical malpractice defense, Mr. Monnich specializes in insurance litigation. In 1985 he was awarded the designation "Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter" by the American Institute for Property and Liability Underwriters and in 1989 he was awarded the designation "Chartered Life Underwriter" by the American College. In addition to his litigation activities, Mr. Monnich has advised and counseled insurance companies and insureds' concerning insurance practices and coverage issues. Mr. Monnich is also admitted to practice before all courts in Michigan, the 6th Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
