John K. Kwak is an Associate attorney at Chartwell's New York office, where he primarily focuses on workers' compensation and other insurance defense litigation matters. He is admitted to both the New York and New Jersey Bars. Mr. Kwak earned his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2010 with concentrations in intellectual property and international law. During his law school tenure, he was an intern at the Kings County District Attorney's Office, where he was involved in the litigation of criminal cases in the Red Trial Zone, and represented the city interests Criminal Court. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Kwak worked as an Associate at Finkelstein, Meirowitz & Eidlisz, where he handled claimant side workers' compensation cases, social security appeals, and other various employment litigation cases. He was also an Associate at Behman Hambelton, where he focused his practice on insurance defense litigation, including workers' compensation, premises liability, and Dram Shop Act cases.
