Ms. Meyer has played a vital role in the North Carolina legal community, serving on the Family Law Council of the North Carolina Bar Association and chairing the Family Law Section from 2000 to 2001. Her leadership extends to the Family Law Specialization Committee of the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization, where she received the Howard L. Gum Service Award in 2008. Elected to the Board of Law Examiners in 2007, Ms. Meyer is also a key contributor to Continuing Legal Education programs, frequently speaking on critical topics related to family law. Outside the legal arena, Ms. Meyer is an avid hiker and runner, proudly completing 61 marathons since 1994.
