James C. Ten Broeck Jr. combines an extensive legal background with a global perspective, guiding clients through some of the most complex challenges in criminal, civil, and immigration law. Originally from Rogers Park, Chicago, he studied ancient philosophy and literature at the University of Dallas before completing Loyola University School of Law. Early in his career, Mr. Ten Broeck served with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and later built a distinguished criminal defense practice, achieving a notable record of acquittals in both jury and judge trials. His litigation experience extends to federal civil rights actions and various civil disputes. Since 2001, he has devoted his practice to immigration law, appearing before courts in Chicago and several other major jurisdictions to defend clients against removal and protect their rights, regardless of prior violations or offenses. Mr. Ten Broeck believes in upholding the principles of equality and due process, taking pride in keeping families together and ensuring fair treatment under the law.
