About
Maya Flores is an associate Immigration Attorney with the Jarecki Law Group. She primarily represents clients in employment-based matters and provides support on all other immigration matters, including family-based, DACA, naturalization, and asylum. Maya recently graduated law school and practices immigration law in Chicago. During law school, Maya interned with Jarecki Law Group, where she worked on complex family-based immigration cases, and with Beyond Legal Aid, a Chicago-based nonprofit that focuses on community activism lawyering. She also worked as a student attorney at her law school’s Asylum & Immigration Legal Clinic as well as the Criminal Appeals Legal Clinic. Maya was selected as PILI funded legal intern at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, where she researched policy issues that affect the Latinx community throughout the Midwest. Previously, Maya served as a Judicial Extern for Chief Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
