Jacob gained practical skills while in law school by serving as the Vice President and Voting Rights Coordinator for the Disability Law Project. In addition, he also worked as a law clerk in the Offices of Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, U.S. Senator John Thune, and the Arizona Attorney General.
