About
My practice encompasses all aspects of immigrtion law and employment law , including wrongful termination, discrimination, failure to accommodate, and sexual harassment litigation in both state and federal court. Prior to starting The Rekhi Law Firm, PLLC, I worked at The Blankenship Law Firm, P.S. and the international firm of Lane Powell, P.C. as a part of their employment law practice group. I graduated from Tulane University School of Law cum laude, where I served as Senior Associate Editor of Tulane Law Review. During law school, I volunteered at the Tulane Legal Assistance Clinic, assisting indigent clients with a variety of legal issues. I received my B.A. degree in economics from Whitman College, where I was awarded the President's Scholarship. With a demonstrated commitment to social justice, I strive to serve my clients through vigorous advocacy with a human touch. I care deeply about the rights of all people to be free of discrimination and believe in the power of the law to effect positive change. I a member of the legal team for Sikh Coalition, as well as a board member for The Hate Free Zone of Washington. I have also participated as a panel member for various community civil rights panel discussions. I a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the U.S. District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington. I am on the Board of the South Asian Bar Association of Washington and Washington Employment Lawyers Association.
