Fred Taylor is a graduate of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and received his undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University. He is on the board of directors for multiple Suffolk organizations, including the Suffolk-Nansemond Historical Society, the Suffolk Education Foundation and the Suffolk Unit of the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Virginia. Additionally, Fred is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Suffolk Bar Association, and a member of the Franklin-Southampton County Bar Association, Isle of Wight County Bar Association, Portsmouth Bar Association, Virginia Beach Bar Association, Virginia State Bar, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Fred’s practice areas include business law, civil litigation, criminal law, family law, insurance disputes, juvenile & children’s law, land use & zoning law, personal injury, white-collar crimes and wills, estates & trusts.
