Prior to joining Himmelstein Gribben & Joseph LLP David was a Community Advocate for New York State Assembly member Edward Sullivan from 1996-2000 and 1984-1986 where he advocated on behalf of low-income pro-se tenants in New York City Housing Court, and advised tenants and tenant associations on their rights. David has testified for tenants before the RGB, DHCR, New York City Council and the Assembly Housing Committee. David is a member of the New York, California and Massachusetts bars. He is a singer-songwriter and member of ASCAP.
