Danielle “Dani” Bergman is a native of South Norfolk, Virginia, graduating as Salutatorian from Oscar F. Smith High School. She attended college at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise on a full academic scholarship and an athletic scholarship for fastpitch softball. Dani graduated magna cum laude from UVA-Wise with a B.A. in History and Government and a minor in Communications while also leading the Lady Cavaliers softball team and earning the title of NAIA Appalachian Athletic Conference and NAIA Region XII Pitcher of the Year in 2006. Dani attended Appalachian School of Law (ASL) also on a full academic scholarship and graduated in 2009 in the top ten of her law school class. In law school, she served her school and community in numerous ways, including acting as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children from 2007 through 2009. Additionally, Dani was the Senior Articles Editor on the Appalachian Law Review and co-captained the ASL Co-Rec Softball Team that claimed the championship at the 2009 University of Virginia Law School Invitational Co-Rec Tournament. After graduating law school in 2009, Dani got her Colorado law license and then her Virginia license in 2023. Since beginning her practice, Dani has handled complex civil litigation matters representing clients in a wide variety of cases. She brings her commitment and meticulous preparation to every client’s matter. Dani is excited to bring her litigation knowledge and experience to Parks Zeigler to provide exceptional legal counsel to the firm’s clients in civil litigation and family law matters. Dani served as the Community Outreach Director of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association from September 2021 through September 2023. She has also served her community in Colorado and Virginia by being a volunteer coach of high school softball and pitching, and coaching baseball, soccer, and basketball for young children. When Dani is not working, she is spending time with her family, enjoying the beach, playing/coaching softball, and traveling. Dani’s most recent international travel granted her the amazing opportunity to hike nearly 100 miles of the Swiss Alps, to be immersed in the magic of the Galapagos Islands and to hike the nearly 40-mile “W” Circuit of the Torres del Paine National Park in Chile’s Patagonia.
