A proud graduate of the University of Michigan, Dana earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management and Communications in 1996, where she not only excelled academically as a Phi Beta Kappa but also showcased her athletic prowess as a member of the Women’s Varsity Softball Team, consistently achieving Academic All-Big Ten Honors. Continuing her journey in law, Dana attended Wayne State University Law School, where she graduated with Honors and was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Coif. Her academic excellence was further highlighted by her involvement as an Oralist and Brief Writer on the Moot Court Team, where she honed her litigation skills. Dana began her legal career in business litigation at Butzel Long, where she represented a diverse clientele, from small business owners to large corporations. Dana's extensive experience in Appellate practice and Federal civil litigation has been instrumental in securing some of the firm’s most significant settlements and trial verdicts. A licensed attorney in both Michigan and Arizona, Dana is an active member of the Michigan Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, the Oakland County Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association.
