About

Craig is a Minnesota State Bar Association Certified Labor and Employment Law Specialist and a former chairperson of the MSBA’s Labor and Employment Law Section. He has more than 25 years of experience practicing employment law and litigation in the Twin Cities. In 2010, after 20 years of practice with two of the area’s largest and most distinguished law firms, Craig joined his former law partner Stephen J. Snyder and his son Brent C. Snyder in forming Snyder & Brandt, P.A., a boutique law firm based in Minneapolis that strives to provide businesses and individuals with the highest-quality legal representation in employment law, civil litigation and real estate matters. Unlike many employment lawyers, Craig and the other lawyers at Snyder & Brandt, P.A., do not limit their practice to representing businesses or individuals exclusively. Instead, they represent both types of clients. They believe they do a better job for all clients because of this diversity in their practice. Craig makes it a priority to provide each client with prompt, personal service tailored to the specific circumstances. Clients appreciate Craig’s experience and knowledge of the law, as well as his caring, honest and straightforward approach. Clients and peers have recognized Craig’s abilities and skills. Craig was first selected as a Minnesota “SuperLawyer” by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine in 2005, and he has since earned the same designation over 11 consecutive years. In 2010, Craig was chosen as one of the Top 40 employment lawyers in Minnesota. Craig grew up in Iowa and received his undergraduate degree from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa. He earned his J.D. with Distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1990. Craig and the other attorneys at Snyder & Brandt, P.A., believe strongly in giving back to the communities in which they live and practice. For more than five years, Craig has served as a volunteer member of the board of directors of the Minnesota Justice Foundation, a local non-profit whose mission is to promote the delivery of pro bono legal services to low income persons in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. Craig also serves as a volunteer leader at his church and is a husband and the father of three sons. Craig Brandt may be reached at or
