Mr. Bank is active in the American Bar Association, where he serves as a Vice Chair to the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section's Business Litigation Committee and is a member of the Employment Law & Litigation Committee. Mr. Bank also served as a Delegate to the Young Lawyers Division Assembly during the 2013 Annual Meeting in San Francisco. Bank is likewise active in the New York State Bar Association, where he is a member of the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section's Committee on Commercial Division and Commercial Division Law Report Committee. In 2013, Super Lawyers Magazine named Mr. Bank a Rising Star in the New York Metro region in the area of General Litigation. Mr. Bank has also been recognized for his pro bono contributions. The New York State Bar Association has twice bestowed upon him the honorific designation of "Empire State Council" (2006 and 2008) and Volunteer Lawyers For Justice commended him for his successful representation of a disabled minor in a lawsuit seeking to compel the minor's school district to provide appropriate special education services. Mr. Bank graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served as the Senior Notes Editor of the Cardozo Law Review and a member of the Dean's Distinguished Scholars. Mr. Bank was also selected for a full-time, semester-long externship at the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, where he worked with the Major Crimes Bureau on various criminal matters. Upon graduation, Mr. Bank was awarded the Cardozo Service and Achievement Award and elected to the "Order of the Coif."
