Alexander G. Pappas is an Associate in the firm's Insurance Coverage & Litigation and Professional Liability Practice Groups, resident in the New Jersey office. His areas of practice include professional liability litigation, product liability, public entities defense, and general litigation. Mr. Pappas is an active trial attorney, having tried and litigated numerous cases in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. Mr. Pappas has litigated cases in 20 Counties in the State of New Jersey. These cases involved matters ranging from legal malpractice, professional liability, insurance defense litigation, insurance fraud, toxic tort, asbestos, wrongful death, public entity defense, promise liability, wrongful termination, civil rights suits as well as commercial, and contract law. Amongst the professions Mr. Pappas has defended in malpractice suits include attorneys, home inspectors and insurance brokers. In addition, he has participated in various forms of alternative dispute resolution including mediations and arbitrations and has handled appeals to the New Jersey Appellate Division. Mr. Pappas was re-appointed to the Bergen County Bar Association Committees for Civil Practice, Professionalism in the Law (Professional Liability) and the NJSBA General Council Officer and Delegate for the 2011-12 year. Mr. Pappas is a graduate of Quinnipiac College School of Law, where he was an Associate Editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review as well as a recipient of the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award.
