Zev has specialized in bankruptcy law since he externed for The Honorable Thomas B. Donovan, United States Bankruptcy Judge, Central District of California, after his first year in law school at the University of Southern California. While in law school, Zev was the managing editor of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice. Since being admitted to the California Bar in December 2009, Zev has been an associate attorney at Danning, Gill, Diamond & Kollitz, LLP representing debtors, creditors, trustees and other parties in bankruptcy proceedings and other insolvency matters. Mr. Shechtman is an editor of the California Bankruptcy Journal and was the special issue editor of the journal’s symposium issue on municipal bankruptcy under Chapter 9 of the Bankruptcy Code (2012).
