Zachary David Griffin is an accomplished attorney at Elrod Pope Law Firm in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where he has focused his practice on medical malpractice and personal injury since joining the firm in 2021. A native of Rock Hill, Zach began his journey with Elrod Pope as an intern in 2012, laying the groundwork for his legal career. Zach earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Business from the University of South Carolina. During his time in college, he demonstrated leadership as the director of the University’s Congressional Advisory Board and as the founding director of the Legislative Action Network, both of which championed higher education advocacy at state and national levels. Following his graduation, Zach served with AmeriCorps VISTA, where he supported various nonprofits in enhancing educational opportunities for children in the Washington, D.C. area. He returned to South Carolina in 2017 to assist with Tommy Pope’s congressional campaign. In 2021, Zach graduated with his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law, where he received the inaugural Russell M. Robinson II scholarship. He actively contributed to the legal community as director of Lawyers for Literacy and as a member of First-Generation Professionals. Zach's legal experience includes clerking at the Sixteenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office and working on complex corporate matters as a summer associate in New York City. Beyond his legal practice, he is involved in the firm’s marketing and technology committees and engages in local political campaigns, furthering his commitment to community service and advocacy.
