Yale Robert Levy is a seasoned attorney based in Columbus, Ohio, specializing in General Practice, Personal Injury, Probate, and Tax law. He earned his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State College of Law in May 1995 and became a licensed attorney in Ohio later that year. Mr. Levy is a proud member of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar and the Ohio Federal Bar, which includes the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for both the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio, as well as the United States Tax Court. In 2006, Mr. Levy was appointed as special counsel to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office by Attorney General James Petro, where he continues to play a vital role in assisting the state of Ohio in collecting past due obligations. His commitment to public service is complemented by his extensive experience in various areas of law, including retail, commercial, and medical collections, as well as creditor/debtor rights and general civil litigation. Before pursuing his legal career, Mr. Levy graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University, Bloomington, in May 1992. While at Indiana, he distinguished himself by passing all four parts of the Accountancy Examination on his first attempt—an achievement accomplished by less than 10% of candidates. During his legal studies, he gained valuable experience as an intern at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
