About
My entire career has been dedicated to bankruptcy law. My father was a Bankruptcy Judge in Atlanta, GA, who was a leader in the development of bankruptcy law in the United States. I have attempted to carry on his legacy through my legal practice and further development of bankruptcy law publications, most notable being Norton Bankruptcy Law & Practice (13 vol. treatise on bankruptcy law published by Thomson Reuters). I am an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt Law School and am the seminar manager for Norton Institutes on Bankruptcy Law (). In recent years I have have handled all types of interests in Chapter 11 cases. I have represented Chapter 11 business, individual debtors, Offical Committees of Unsecured Credtiors, Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 trustees, and have even served the role of a Chapter 11 Trustee. I also have training as a court approved mediator and am on the commercail arbitration panel for the American Arbitration Association.
