Professional Background A New Jersey native, William went to Queens College of CUNY with a year off to study abroad, majoring in English Writing, Literature, and History. He attended college at night while studying full time at a yeshiva during the day. He followed that with a Juris Doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University. He is also a member of CERT – the Civilian Emergency Response Team – in Passaic County and an active member of Chaveirim, a civilian volunteer help organization. With a passion for fighting for the underdog, he also volunteers as a CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocate – for foster children in Essex County.
