Toni Marie Sandin is the esteemed owner and founder of Sandin Law, based in Fargo, ND, where she is licensed to practice in both North Dakota and Minnesota. A distinguished graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2005, Toni also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, which she earned in 2002 after completing her undergraduate studies in Accounting at the University of Saint Thomas. Toni's unique combination of legal expertise and accounting knowledge provides her clients with a strategic advantage in various areas, including estate planning, personal injury, probate, real estate, tax, and tax planning. Her extensive experience encompasses business succession planning, charitable planning, special needs planning, and comprehensive estate and gift tax planning. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, Toni possesses a deep understanding of the challenges faced by family businesses. Before establishing Sandin Law in September 2009, Toni served as an Associate Attorney at Dorsey & Whitney in Fargo, specializing in corporate and estate planning. She further honed her skills at Gray Plant Mooty, where she managed Fargo's Trust, Estate, and Charitable Planning group from 2015 to 2018. Toni is actively engaged in the legal and accounting communities, holding memberships in organizations such as Wealth Counsel, the Red River Valley Estate Planning Council, the State Bar Association of North Dakota, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Her contributions to the field have not gone unnoticed; Toni was recognized in 2011 by Bismarck Tribune’s Business Watch Magazine as a "40 under 40" awardee and was named one of the "Top 25 Women in Business" by Prairie Business Magazine in 2014. A native of Fargo, Toni is committed to giving back to her community, serving on the boards of the Red River Valley Estate Planning Council, the Sanford Foundation, and the Village Family Services Foundation, among others. In her free time, Toni enjoys yoga, water skiing, playing tennis, traveling, and spending quality moments at the lake with her husband and four children, along with their miniature poodle.
