Thomas Vega-Byrnes is a Chicago-based attorney with 20 years of experience in a variety of international business and development sector transactions. My practice covers: Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America: project financed engineering and construction projects in electric power, airport, chemicals and other major infrastructure projects; international and US project finance and secured lending; investments in and loans to micro and SME lending institutions in developing countries; major international development institutions such as IFC, CDC, FMO, KfW, EBRD; corporate restructurings for tax purposes; M&A; joint ventures.
