Tara Helene Cheever is a distinguished estate-planning attorney and the founder of Cheever Law, APC, located in Carlsbad, California. A Cum Laude graduate of Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Tara received numerous academic accolades and completed a prestigious Fellowship at the Center for Law, Technology, and Communications. She also served as a certified law clerk at the California Department of Justice, where she successfully argued cases before all divisions of the Fourth District Court of Appeal. Following her tenure as Deputy City Attorney for Escondido, she established Cheever Law, APC in 2009, focusing on serving families and business owners. Tara is an active member of WealthCounsel, a graduate of Elder Law College, and dedicates her time to the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program. Originally from the Chicago area, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree with High Honors from the University of Illinois.
