Susan Gustad graduated with honors from Hamline University School of Law. She joined Bassford Remele as a lateral associate in 2002 with four years of experience in insurance defense work representing business owners, municipalities and individuals. Since coming to the firm, Susan has developed a diverse range of practice areas. She represents businesses and professionals in professional liability matters. Susan handles complex insurance coverage issues as well as commercial litigation. She also represents residential landlords in housing matters. Susan is a member of the Consumer Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association and ACA International, Inc. She is also a member of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association. Susan writes and presents on consumer law issues, especially the FDCPA, TCPA and FCRA.
