Stephen Morris grew up in Eatonton, Georgia and has now madeMadison, Georgia his permanent home. While attending Morgan County High School, Stephen interned forSuperior Court Judge Brenda H. Trammell. Through working with Judge Trammell, Stephen developed a passion for practicing law and became familiar with the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit. Stephen graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Law and Political Science. While attending Flagler College, Stephen was an active member of theStudent Judiciary Council. He was also elected as the Treasurer of the Flagler College chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, Law Fraternity. Stephen earned his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. During his time in Law School, Stephen became a Certified Legal Intern with the Florida Coastal Housing Rights Clinic. While serving as a Legal Intern, Stephen represented indigent individuals in landlord/tenant proceedings. After becoming a member of the Florida Bar, Stephen decided to return home to Morgan County to begin his career. Stephen joined the Fierman Law Firm in a support role until he became a member of the State Bar of Georgia. After passing the Georgia Bar, Stephen joined the Fierman Law Firm as an Associate Attorney where he has gained valuable experience representing clients in Juvenile Court, Probate Court, Magistrate Court, Superior Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Georgia in a wide variety of cases. Through becoming a member of the Ocmulgee Circuit Bar Association, Stephen has developed strong relationships with the community he serves, as well as with fellow attorneys and judges. In July 2015, he was elected as the President of the Ocmulgee Bar Association where he serves the counties of Baldwin, Greene, Hancock, Jasper, Jones, Morgan, Putnam, and Wilkinson. The Ocmulgee Circuit Bar Association provides lawyers working in these counties opportunities to collaborate with each other to ensure justice is administered properly. Stephen and his wife Victoria reside in Madison, Georgia and are members of Centennial Baptist Church.
