Stella Michelle Hurtt is a dedicated attorney and the founder of the Law Office of Stella M. Hurtt PLLC, located in her hometown of Meridian, Mississippi. A lifelong resident of the area, Stella's commitment to helping others began at a young age and has evolved into a successful legal career. She earned her Associate's Degree in Business Administration from East Central Community College in 2007 and subsequently completed her Bachelor's Degree at Mississippi State University, where she was actively involved in student leadership and community outreach initiatives. Stella graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law in May 2012, where she excelled both academically and in practical legal training. As a student attorney, she provided vital legal services through the Elder Law Division and volunteered in various civil matters, demonstrating her commitment to serving low-income individuals. Following her admission to the Mississippi Bar, Stella established her solo practice, focusing on Family Law, Estate Planning, Real Estate, Personal Injury, and General Practice. Stella is an active member of the Lauderdale County Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, American Bar Association, and is involved in pro bono work. She is passionate about providing accessible legal services and upholding the rights of the underserved, guided by her belief in advocacy as expressed in Proverbs 31:8-9. Outside of her legal practice, Stella enjoys spending time with family and exploring the beauty of the outdoors.
