I joined NC Eminent Domain Law Firm in 2012 to lead the firm’s eminent domain practice. I received my J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill. I received my undergraduate degree in Pre-Law from Bob Jones University in South Carolina. Prior to joining the firm, I worked as an assistant attorney general for the North Carolina Department of Justice, where I represented the North Carolina Department of Transportation in condemnation litigation throughout the state. In doing so, I gained valuable perspective about the state’s approach to eminent domain takings. I have argued cases before the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court, and tried dozens of jury trials throughout North Carolina. I am a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the Wilson County Bar. I have also served as a trial advocacy instructor for the North Carolina Department of Justice.
